WHITE CHRISTMAS CARD TUTORIAL - JULIA PERSICO

Instructions:

  1. Cut burlap sheet to card size 10.5cm x 14.8cm and adhere to card – image 1.


  2. Cut Season Bright paper to 9cm x 13.3cm. Distress and ink edges and adhere to card – image 2.


  3. Die-cut decorative frame die from both Tree Bark and Dove cardstock sheets. Layer Dove frame on top of and slightly off centre of Tree Bark frame to create a shadow effect. Adhere both together – image 3.


  4. Adhere ‘Have yourself a Merry little Christmas’ sentiment to Dove cardstock following rub-on instructions, then cut around the sentiment border. Cut out a sheet music tag from Jolly Gift Tags paper, distress and ink edges. Adhere sentiment to tag with foam mounts – image 4.


  5. Adhere top of die-cut frames towards the top of the card only, then layer the tag inside the frame with the bottom of the tag under the frame and the top of the tag over top of the frame. Finish adhering the remainder of the frame and tag to card – image 5.


  6. Cut piece of muslin approximately 9cm x 18cm. Bunch piece loosely together and adhere to bottom of die-cut frame to resemble snow. Use pictured creative cut pieces and teal flowers, assemble and adhere on top of the muslin as pictured – image 6.

Beautiful card, thank you for the tutorial. In the September Magazine you have an inspirational card that looks like a double easel calendar card, would you be able to give me the measurements of the card please? My friend and I have been working through the amazing cards in the kit, however, can’t work the measurements out for this one. Thank you in anticipation of a reply. Pam.
